I assume it hovers due to upward tension from the rest of the slinky. That means to compensate for the energy needed to hover in place, the slinky falls faster than the force of gravity alone until all coils reach a point of minimum tension. Normal gravity pull will take it the rest of the way. IS THIS SCIENCE???

There was once a bird, a bird that was caged in a cage called love. She was not happy with her life, she felt restricted and she wanted to explore the world. The owner of the cage had unconditional amount of love for the bird and she very well knew that bird was hurting under given circumstances. Yet, the owner did not want to set the bird free because the owner knew that world outside was so much more harsh and full of pain compared to isolation of the cage, as owner used to be a bird once herself. Sadly, the owner knew of this one rule: “Nothing experienced, nothing learned.”

One day, she decided to set the bird free. The bird had mixed feelings about leaving her cage; she told owner that she’d be “back”. The owner, riddled with mixed feelings herself said, “Your cage will be here whenever you feel like returning.” Spreading her wings, the bird explored the world. Every alley, every corner, met a lot of people – got hurt plenty. In the end when the bird was tired and bruised with reality, she decided to return to her cage because what she thought of the world outside the cage, is in fact much more smaller and suffocating than the world inside the cage. And when she returned, her owner had left. All that remained was the cage – but the love, was long gone.

I had never heard of NeoTokyo before. It’s apparently a game based off of the Source Engine SDK, which makes it a mod? But this music is so reminiscent of The Flashbulb that I can’t help but loop and loop and float around in this sound.

This is the first new footage in a long time for Under Night in-Birth, the new fighting game from Melty Blood-creators French Bread / ECOLE. The animation is smooth, the gameplay looks fast and furious, the air movement options are fluid and amazing… has my faith in this fighter been restored?
